New IIAS To Provide FSA Debit Card Enhancements

In order to help streamline the approval process for eligible purchases made with a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) debit card, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) recently authorized a new electronic approval system for FSA-eligible purchases.

This system, which will be implemented at the check out by merchants who sell FSA-eligible merchandise, is called the Inventory Information Approval System, or IIAS. Learn more about IIAS from our IIAS Announcement and FAQ document.
